Followed by Monthly Meeting & Pot Luck
Norway House (directions)
David Hofstad will demonstrate his famous lefse recipe from 1-3 p.m. This will be a VERY hands-on lesson. You will make and roll the dough, and grill the lefse. David tweaked his mother’s traditional recipe to develop one that’s delicious, easy, and relatively quick to make.
After the demo and recipe sharing, there will be a business meeting including the award of membership pins and reports on improvements to Norway House, upcoming events, and plans for the Holiday Festival. A pot luck supper follows — expect to eat around 4:45 or 5 p.m. If you can come only for the lefse demo or only the pins and pot luck, that’s perfectly OK. Fridge space and re-heating is available for pot luck dishes.
