Norwegian Festival 2021

Washington Lodge 2021 Norwegian Festival

We are holding our 2021 Norwegian Festival! Like last year, the Festival will be held in accordance with the current CDC and Virginia guidelines. Instead of holding it at our usual venue, it will be held over several days at Norway House. To ensure the safety of our guests and volunteers, we are requiring guests to register in advance for the Festival. Please use the links below to ensure your time slot for attending. For more information, view the short instructional video on the right. We are also requiring everyone to wear facemasks.

Festival dates are Saturday, October 23 (10-5), Sunday, November 14 (11-5), Friday, December 3 (10-5), and Saturday, December 4 (10-5).

We’ll have all of our merchandise available, including delicious Norwegian chocolates, cheeses, jellies, and Solo drinks! We’ve worked hard this year to find new and unique merchandise such as Susan Fosse of Norway, Dale of Norway and other wonderful Nordic items.

We’ll also offer traditional baked goods, with an Autumn theme for October and November, and our usual Christmas offerings in December. In October, we will have our outdoor Norwegian cafe' offering traditional Norwegian desserts, Norwegian Coffee, Lingonberry, Solo drinks. For the November and December Festival Dates, we will be offering an expanded menu to include Norwegian pølse, Reindeer Dogs, our traditional Pea Soup as well as the other menu offerings.
